Saturday Morning/Night Sunday

My weekend was awesome!
(there were a few personal bumps and evil people trying to destroy everything but hey that happens)
Woke up Saturday morning and the kids were tired from the night before (they had thier 3rd annual Halloween in august costume party which was damn cool) so me and Regina laid in bed cuddlin and that led to SOME SERIOUSLY AWESOME SEX!
We did everything but whip out the toys!
I love morning sex
Just makes the day seem so much brighter! Colors pop, birds sing, and damn did I need a nap! hehe
But we had drama so we took car of that and went shopping for our BBQ the next day.
Just a little friendly get together...
I have to say that it was one of the best I have had all summer (unfortunatly a few people were missed)
Bryan, Brady and thier spouses were really cool and provided a great atmosphere.
I finally had a BBQ where there was conversation and eating (Brady is a serious food man)
and drinking (not a beer left in the house!)
and we stayed out till around midnight.
Even a skunk tryed to crash the party (I got covered in coffee for that)
Today was relaxing and I spent the day trying to occupie my wifes mind
to get it off of the past and the tragedy that occured today.
Hope i did well...
Well I am off to occupie the mind and body of the woman I love
favorite quote of the day:
"Wake Up America! Theres Sex to Be Had"
so go try some stuff!

Booth Babes....

I like video games
I like Sex
I dont like when the 2 mix at gaming conventions for no apparent reason
other then to draw attention to the product being sold,
I dont need to see a nekkid chick to convince me to try your game
give me something more,
tell me about the game
show me a clip,
or jeez at least get the nekkid people to learn about your damn game!
and with that a clip of the useless nekkid people at lepzig:

sigh
Think they play any games?

Busy boy, busy boy, busy boy...

I have had one hell of a busy summer!
phew
Between BBQing, Video gaming, tech toy gathering, drinking, Dancing, Camping and SEX (list not in order of frequency)
I have truly out done previous summers, I think!
wow
another summer gone and once again I have gained all the weight I lost
sigh
at least I got to hang out with brave traveling Anthony!
(even helping you move was fun!)
and through all of this I realize
I miss Brady
we had great convos on video games, bluray vs hddvd, and what it is I actually do during work!
somebody tell him to txt me so I can have his number...
(also tell him I am a serial txter and hope he has unlimited txts)
which leads to this question...(not that it has to do with me and Brady)
Has anyone every Cybertxted? (sexually)

Life in the woods, in the 21st century

I am currently sitting on the porch outside a one room cabin in Elysburgh PA.
It would normally be a fun experience but on the wonderful August day
its 54 degrees and raining
maybe tommorrow will clear up and be a better experience for us,
as you can clearly see my idea of roughing it involded my power book with verizon evdo card,
iphone, and psp.
ahhh
I am truly a "21st century digital boy"

and now time to offend....

I have had enough of religion!
It has no place with its racist tendencies and warlike need to "spread the word"
we need to get it out of our Government and back into the churches where it can rule those who feel
like spending thier time with it.
Its ability to spread FUD is outrageous, and I can never under stand how people eat this up...
The catalyst behind my recent ranting outrage is the $27 Million Creation Museum in Petersburg KY.
I read and reread the name and culdnt believe it
CREATION MUSEUM....
my mind reeled in wonder and horror,
What could be in it?
I mean as far as I knew according to religion things have always been this way from day one (well after the expulsion from paradise) there hasnt been a evolution of man or animal.
so what could they have to say possibly?
Fortunalty for me: Ars takes a field trip: the Creation Museum and as usual first i looked at the pictures before reading the article and guess what I saw...
DINOSAURS!
SO RELIGION HAS ONCE AGAIN JUST ACCEPTED SOMETHING THEY FOUGHT TOOTH AND NAIL WITH SCIENCE ABOUT AND ADDED IT TO IT STABLE!!!
WTF?
Oh man this is too much:

is that really Eve with a Velociraptor?
are you kidding me?
who is buying this crap?
sigh...
The other thing that made me annoyed was this:
Atheists identified as America’s most distrusted minority
In truth I think the Atheists are less likely to blow shit up or fly planes into buildings.
Who the fuck are these people to say anything?
The same people that tryed to kill Galileo? Galileo was required to recant his heliocentric ideas, declaring the immobility of the sun to be "absurd in philosophy and formally heretical", and the mobility of the earth "to be at least erroneous in faith";

Fuck this...
can we get a Atheist in the White House please?
(I know the answer is no but ommon)
when will todays religions go the way of ancient religions?
I mean come on,
Its obvious that the current religions were dreamed up not that long ago, seeing as the people before
had a different belief set and they did pretty well for themselves...
Maybe life was better under Odin and Zeus...
the fact of the matter is religion has no place being involved in the ruling of the nations of the world...
look at the middle east,
a girl was stoned to death for loving a man of a different sect, by her OWN FUCKING FAMILY AND THE POLICE!
The stories coming out of Afganastan of children and women starving to death because they werent allowed to leave the house or have money without there husbands (who were killed or arrested during the conflicts), and the one sad story of the one womand who couldnt take it anymore and ventured out to get food and was given bread by a man who felt pity only to have the both caught, the woman stoned and the mand had his hands removed.
or How about Christianity being used to show how its ok to enslave many africans because the were "souless subhumans who needed to be brought into the light of god"...
riiiight,
fire away at me,
tell me I am wrong and that god is merciful and just and blah blah blah
to that I say
"Until there is proof of the existence of god I will go the way of deep agnostic belief....and remember, its not for me to disprove his existance, the job is yours to PROVE it."

Living la vida loca!

Ok I have been super busy doing other things and I have neglected my blog so lets get up to date:
My Xbox360 died again....blah!
I returned it yesterday and got the new one with the HDMI out, which means it has the updated new and improved
heatsink (its a rev b 360)
My Ps3 is getting lots of attention latley as more games come out that I want to play and my netflix blu ray rentals show up,
but theres one thing missing from my PS3 life ONLINE GAMING, I am about to be reduced to playing with strangers if my friends dont get on the horse, sigh....
oh big big announcement
ROB SHAW HAS A WII!
So now i can really say with my full belief behind it,
the wii is not meant for gaming by me...its more of a distraction with its kid friendly games.
as if by some wonderful magic
while the kids were playing wii bowling and I was watching thier grandma came into the room and engaged in wii bowl!
I look at my wife and said "See I told you!"
(I have been saying the wii is for kids under 16 and Grand Parents!)
I am now on the lookout for something for the Gamer Demographic (boys 16-38 i think)
I have also been having lots of sex (had to include that do to previous post)

So there you have it,
and
I AM BACK! more to follow.....

On video games and sex...

So after much attempt at a tough stage I have managed to beat God of War 2!
Now I am sure I could have done it earlier except all the interesting and very fulfilling sex I have been having.
Now I like video games ...a whole lot.... but sex is well sex!
And the fact that a few mail order packages arrived just made things really interesting even more so then normal,
actually we have so many items we have tryed out I was thinking up setting up a seperate blog just so people know whats good and what to save money on, but sex and video games get in the way!
I am now about to engage in Devil May Cry 3:SE and finish up Resistance and GRAW2...
but first i need to get some cheesecake and do some other interesting gaming!

Busy busy busy boy

Wow its been a while since I posted...
well between my ps3, 360 (not so much cause I am afraid to turn it on lest it die again)
PSP and...
My wife who has helped my rediscover how much of a dirty dirty boy I am
and how much I like bondage!
who knew?
Turns out I think I am pretty good at it too..
the actual problem is that finally passing out together around 3-4am is starting to tire me cause I have
to be up at 7
granted I am fresh faced and grinning ear to ear
I am still tired.
Hey guys remember when you get a chance, smack your girls booty before after or during and tell her you love it!
Girls:
do the same.
be happy to make each other happy

WTF! 2 thousand FRAKKIN 8!

For those that dont know, I am a big Scifi (pronounced Skiff-E) fan.
Now I have been watching every episode of Battlestar Galactica and there were
some good ones and some misses, but all in all its a good show,
but WTF is up with the long ass breaks?
What has happened to T.V. scheduled seasons now a days?
I remember when JR got shot
you waited one off season of like a few months then WHAM back in business...
but now a days
seems like every show I like gets almost a year off...
plus they take a few months off in the middle of the season...
they get more days off then public school
I cant believe that on March 25th 2007 I saw a AMAZING SEASON ENDER for
Battlestar Galactica to be concluded sometime in 2008...
FRAKKING BULLCRAP....
by the way
What kinda Satallite radio they got channeling "All along the watch tower" across light years?

Shutdown day/Meatout morons

Hey meat is good and if you dont eat it the cows are still there just now they are alive! and wandering around...ever watch a special on places where cows are sacred? tell me thats a better life...bah here: Meatout on that day I had meatloaf and chicken wings...cant wait for the summer when I get to fire up the grill and put animals on it!
covered in BBQ sauce...my wife does most of the prepping (shes Vegetarian, loves me and thinks meat is good for human consumption, she just has her own views and reasons). Meat is yummy!
and
Shutdown Day
Why would I want to? for a whole day? does that mean anything with a computer in it or computer like?
sillyness, this is the 21st century its quickly becoming the primary form of communication and entertainment and EMPLOYMENT!
I really dont see the purpose of either of these things but I posted here cause someone may enjoy,
of course if your reading this on saturday number 2 is out for you too!!!

or maybe

Taco Bell Steak burrito supreme
a few taco supremes
and
a side of Nachos bell grande
yeah!
and a Mcsorleys Ale
and 1
just 1
Marlboro....

Back again.....

So I went to the Gym with my lovely wife and daughter and decided to step on the scale....
yep so in the 2yrs since i was last going to the gym on a regular basis, I have gained almost all back (I was 301 then went down to 245 now I stand at 288 ugh)
So I am back on a regular regiment of Gym and attempting to eat healthy (ie only what my wife makes)
I have also cut down smoking...
so yeah I am annoyed due to both those things and the general nuttiness that is work (look I avoided saying evil things!!!)
I happen to like 3 things that contribute to health issues
sigh
1. Beer/Alchohol: A good beer can really make a meal taste good and 2 -3 can just relax every tired muscle in your body, kinda like having a massage therapist in a glass bottle and tasty too!
2. Smoking: Goes hand in hand with Beer or even coffee, the whole not healthy part annoys me though...
3. Food: lots of tastey food in many ways...hence 288lbs!
So most of the tension caused by releaving my self of the 3 things i like could be released by hitting people, but really does that solve anything?
I think mass murder applies here
but I should have limits...
stupid people (ie Most of the people in penn station) are on top of the list
and sales people (I still havent caught one to sacrafice to the God of Electricity)
and
NJ drivers...
yep
i could cut the population by a third and still not be done
eh or maybe i will just have 1 beer 1 smoke and 1 spare rib...
maybe

Recreation time...

Jericho is getting interesting this season,
I suggest you watch it...
I really dont need to mention that Heroes is amazing do I?
I do have a problem with NBC and Fox, that CBS has addressed
My Cable hd channels went out on Monday so I got a whole lotta nuthin in my recordings for 24, Heroes and Prison Break. I had to seek other means to get my shows. Meanwhile the same thing occured again on Wed. (I know I have a technician scheduled to come out but I am leaning towards verizon fios anyway) and I got to watch Jericho in the CBS on demand HD menu, why cant the other channels do this?
Is it that big of a deal? CBS even throws a few commercials in and I dont mind, I got to see the show I wanted and it was hassle free.
I am a SONY Fanboy
(I like the Xbox360 too and I want a wii but make no mistake about it)
That being said, I am more of a videogamer then sony fanboy, so there
Downloaded some games for me PS3:
Qbert: Thumbs up to a classic!
Lemmings: Childishness and silly puzzles in 720p!
flOw: Has to be the weirdest game I have ever played on a Playstation platform, no points no loud explosions, no save points...just relaxing music and a creature that you control, that appears to be of the microscopic type. You control it by moving the sixaxis around to make it swim in those directions and it eats other things on screen, you have to play it i guess. I like it and so does my daughters.
Tekken: Dark Ressurection: the same Tekken we all loved on the PSP no on your PS3 in HD and very pretty. My only complaint is I think I need a new tv, the crt overscan is too much sometimes. Thumbs up to Tekken!
Next week MotorStorm!
Xbox360: Crackdown: sweet ass kicking Goodness!

The world has gone nuts...

OK,
Today I read that Sony got angry over a rumor posted by Kotaku and they black balled them, then a few hours later and a phone call they made up...meanwhile Sony settled their patent standoff with "patent squatters" Immersion and it appears rumble is coming to the PS3! and while that crazyness was happening Sony sent out new Dev kit tools (called Playstation 3 Edge) to ease the game dev teams worrys!!!
meanwhile...
Music execs pulled out of thier collective asses that Apple's DRM is whats hurting music sales and that Apple needs to open the DRM...which is a funny thing to say to Apple, considering Steve Jobs recently went on a tirade about ditching DRM completly....did the music execs pay someone to investigate this bs?...So their idea is not that DRM hurts sales but Apple's DRM, sigh
Turner Broadcasting was hit by a worm that worked a known flaw in Symantecs software, that Symantec (heres the kicker) had a fix for posted up for download since May and they have been urging everyone to use it...
I have nothing to say about that....

Update and my relationship with the Gods...

So I just set fire to a G5 with sparks and flame firing from the the rear fans (i was holding it up and staring in it at the time)
all I did was plug in a firewire cable,
sigh...
Looks like I am going to have to Sacrifice a few sales people....

Monday, February 19, 2007

I appear to have pissed off the god of electricity...

So, I thought it was bad and annoying when my Xbox360 DIED without reason on saturday and gave the red ring of death...
couldnt get worse right?
Monday:
I have firewire ports not responding to each other (trying to figure out with machine has the dead ports and all signs say both now)
My external hard drive just decided to day its gonna go into meltdown and almost start a fire under my desk and in the process losing about 96gbs of data.
My GM's pc just gave up the ghost and rick has been working hard to bring life to it some how we even went out and bought a copy of vista upgrade but that needs to start in the os (?)
SIGH
3 hours left...

Joining the masses

For awahile now I have been trying to figure out what people do in Starbucks when they are sitting there for hours.
So due to a series events that all lined up just right...
here I AM!
So got my coffee, 1 Venti Americano (good stuff I suggest everyone drink one of these a day)
Laptop open, its nothng special to look at unless I rotate it to tablet mode but it is running Vista, hopefully no one will notice and want to talk, I am just here to observe and follow the Prime Directive!
So laptop open, and surfing the net...
people coming in and going out,
few people been here looks like for the long haul, i suppose i look like this right now,
not much going on, people reading
chatting, writing, staring...
this is all not very interesting
wait
theres wildlife in the back
ahhh the local crazys... babbling to everyone half smoked cigarettes in their mouth
you know
for all its pomp and arrogance...besides the tmobile hotspot deals and readily available electricity this place is like Dunkin Donuts -donuts.
I think its the mood lighting
It sets your internal clock wrong so you dont notice how much time has passed
they dont really bother you either
and I have noticed the clientele here is between the ages of 15 and 20 majority, girls..
how odd, I always thought guys drank more coffee and the older generation
then again I hung out in a dunkin donuts for like 16 years...
and it was alot like this Starbucks in Upper Montclair
all I need is to look out the window and see some kids hacking and Morty walking around babbling nonsense to feel at home...
ah well...

Windows Vista: Day 3 (work)

So today I decided to plug in my wonderful partially disabled (due to Vista incompatibilities) Tablet to the big wide work network and I saw some new activities:
Vista Prompted me to setup a network location as soon as it started because I had wifi on, and being security minded, it offered me the option of Private or Public network (incase you forgot Public means firewall goes up and there is 0 sharing between you and everything else, i.e. you cant see them they cant see you) so on my wifi i set public and then plugged in and shut wifi off...
I have a ip assigned to my Tablet already so thats taken care of (we are a non DHCP location) and as soon as the plug snapped to port up comes the "Choose a new location..." prompt and I choose Private this time and proceed to see the Netowrk shares loading.
Now there is a repository for temporary files that we use to transfer files around, aptly named 1TEMPORARY, this little g4 400 with 80gb drive that sits under my desk is super important to connect to for all users...
guess what?
For some reason Vista wont inout the User and password right directly out of sharing (in its defense I am probably doing something wrong or I need to be more patient) but it kept adding T1501 to the beggining of my username (thats the computer name) and I know i have quite a few pc users on 1TEMP so there has to be away....
Next I tackled the the elusive Flashplayer issue
and with the help of this (http://weblogs.asp.net/derekh/archive/2005/08/16/422743.aspx)
I finally have it running!
Yay....

Windows Vista: Day 2

I have made a promise to myself to not use any macs for this whole weekend to get the nice full experience of Vista without distractions, and I have to say, its not bad...
Except:
So I set out to make Windows Media Player to play nicely with my 360, so after I checked my file sharing abilities (in a very user unfriendly menu), I make sure everything is as it should be and reboot...
and start my 360
start the the media center setup on 360 and media center on pc...
input 8 digit code (not sure what this is all about)
and...
IT WORKED!!!
unfortunatly I have no media on here so i navigate to online stations and attempt to check out mtv when
"THIS OPTION REQUIRES THE LATEST FLASH PLAYER INSTALLED"
wtf?!?
(now a little backstory: since I loaded Vista and started running aim, i noticed my friends icon, titled "weemee" doesnt run anymore because it says i need the newist version of flash which have tryed to install again and again over a matter of hours)
So i discover flash doesnt work for Vista,
oh well...
Besides that and some odd problem where my aim keeps logging off and Vista drains the batteries like crazy
oh
and the fact my tablet cant sleep anymore (felt like the processors were going nuclear)
everything is pretty cool.
I forced Divx player to install and run under a Win Xp sp2 emulation, so I was able to connect to my bedroom Mac (which is getting a little long in the tooth) and share some movie files to my Vista and played a episode of FireFly cross network, unfortunatly the codec couldnt install into media player so I used divx player.
I look forward to the future of this OS and to testing it this week at work in a office environment.

Old Friends...

I was pointed by Anthony pointed me to a friends blog (Erica) and I discovered 2 things:
1. Shes on Blogspot (which I swear it never occured to me that her blog, which I have read, was at blogspot)
and
2. True friends never forget each other, ever.
So I have to make more of a effort to contact all the people who are and were true friends and try to make plans to meet up face to face at least once a year and talk to them (email, phone, im, blogs)more often.
To Erica:
we will meet and you need to come see the fam sometime soon.
To all of my friends reading this:
I wont ever forget who you are and welcome all contact.

does anybody here remember Vera Lynn? Remember how she said "we would meet again..."-Pink Floyd
p.s. if anyone has seen or heard from Chris Pinder tell him "Wassup" for me!

Windows Vista: Install and Day 1

Friday Feb. 2, 2007,
Rick and I run the Windows Vista Update Advisor on our HP Tablet tc4400 (Vista Capable). Well they are almost compatible, the hardware is fine and we had enough ram to run things, there were some software issues. Almost all of the HP included security software and Windows Messenger (yep Windows Messenger requires you update it seperatly) oh and Nero Burning ROM 6.0. So I removed all the offending software and off we went to purchase Vista Business edition...
Which Best Buy doesnt have, oh well we get all the same stuff from Ultimate! Yay!
Back to the office Vista Ultimate in its pretty black all hard plastic case...
which took about 10 mins to figure out how to open, jeez, they could have worked that out better. For your sake I will explain how to open it before you go mad:
On the case near the front you will see 2 tabs, lift the one on the outside of the case, then squeeze the 2 tabs together and pull outwards and down and it folds out. Also pay attention to which disk you pull out because there are 2 and one is for a 64bit Win install the other is for a 32 bit.
Rick started his install first so I didnt get to start mine until I got home later that night (the tablets dont have optical drives so we share a usb plextor drive that was actually made for this machine).
So I get home and eager to start my "Jolt to the standard OS" (tagline for Vista seen in Penn Station) I pop in the disk and hit "Upgrade"...
The install starts and suddenly tells me there is yet another incompatible piece of software and it will not continue until I remove it through "add/remove"...sigh
...2 mins later...
Installing!
Transfering nessecary files yay!
hrm, wait a minute... says at the bottom:
Install Operation in Progress, this may take several HOURS!
What the hell!!!
HOURS? its a damn UPGRADE of existing software, is this normal?
I did a fresh install of linux on my PS3 and it didnt take hours!
oh well, I suppose if I want the goods I got to be patient.
Thankfully, the install (with a few prompts that aren't really note worthy took 2 hours and 20 mins (which I spent playing with my new Xbox Live Vision Camera and a few rounds of Rainbow Six:Vegas with Omer, thanks man!)
So its up and running at 2:30 am, sigh...kinda tired, so i look at it for a few mins, check out the "Gadgets" (like Mac os widgets but they stay docked on the right side of your screen, not sure if thats good..)
"Aero" makes things interesting, like now the windows are translucent so you can kinda see things behind your open windows edges, mousing over anything in your taskbar brings up a tiny little window of said item (dont know if thats worth the cpu power)and things don't popup when you click them anymore, like applications or folders, they kinda dissolve in and out.
There is something here that confuses me and I havent figures it out yet. When you click on a icon, or just mouse over it, a little empty box appears over the top left side of it which upon double clicking puts a "checkmark" in it. If anyone knows why thats there please write to me. Otherwise I will post about it upon discovery.
Now even though its almost 3:00am, I have Windows Vista Ultimate on my lap, and in front of me I have the Xbox 360 which is supposed to share media through Media Center which is a part of the Ultimate edition of Vista.
So I can surely spare the few mins it takes to have them connect and prep to start sharing media right?
Well first I scan the network using the 360 to see if it sees Media Center...
No Dice.
OK try scanning for the 360 in my network using Vista...
Nada,
but now it says "You must enable sharing as it is default off on public Networks and the current NetworkGrendels Lairis public unless you Change it to Private"
So I go about changing it to a private network and I enable file sharing.
The Xbox 360 shows up immediatly 2x. I try to scane for media center using the 360 and...
Nothing!
WTF!.
I am tired so off to bed...
The next day:
I have been using Vista all day (effectivly ignoring the Macs in my house for the first time since they got here) and well not much is different, it did seem to take a hint from the Mac OS in the security (this is not a "OMG they copied again" dig at windows), when you install software you now have to permit it through a series of click throughs asking "If you wanted to install this software please click continue otherwise click cancel".
I downloaded a several new Gadgets, but one of them was broken and kept crashing the Gadget dock, and I got this:
"A program has crashed the Side panel click here to find a solution"
I click and wait 10 secs as it runs
"A solution could not be found please remove the program: (name of program)"
I remove it and all is better.
I go to empty the trash and see something I have never seen before on a windows trashcan, "Delete"
Which I hit, hehe
and the trashcan vanishes.
oops
I head to Desktop Properties and I am hit by a confusing list of choices, very much unlike the old prompt. Its confusing in its style and content.
I head to the place where the icons for the esktop reside and there was my Trash icon enabler and a new desktop Icon: Control Panel! That seems convenient so I enable it.
Also I was tempted to change my setup to classic mode but I decided to keep it as is to get the total experience....
I will keep you informed.

Thoughts in the morning

So i was up before the sun this morning and started thinking...
What seperates a mass murderer and serial killer from the rest of us?
Cause I can tell you, that there were several times on the way in where I thought someone should die for thier annoyance, arrogance, "need to piss someone off", and general stupidity.
The short answer is:
Anger Control, and the fear of doing time in prison.
I saw 2 incidents this morning where clearly had it not been for law and self control someone would have died, and to top it off the anger reflected in the faces of all involved showed that had they unleasehed themselves more then that person would have felt thier wrath.
The first incident involved a man doing something I see everyday and still confuses and angers me.
At the top of the stairs and escalator at penn st. where HUNDREDS of people are coming up at a time,
why oh why do people feel when they reach the top (especially the escalator) they have the right to stop dead in thier tracks and do things like, make a phonecall, open a map, or just stop and stare?
Do they not realize someone is coming up behind them in that crowd of people they just traveled with?
Well the incident involved a Guy in a Suit checking his blackberry at the top of the escalator
The next few people squeezed around him but one guy decided "screw this" and bumped him....
Blackberry spilling to the floor (at this point I stopped walking to watch but I was off to the side and out of the way)
Suit screamed angry words at Bump guy and thats when I saw it:
The moment where the guy would commit murder had it not been for self control.
As Suit bent to pick up his blackberry the Bump guy approached from his side and proceeded to tell him in 4 letter words how stupid it is to stand at the top of the stairs. Suit stood up to reply but being still in the way (slightly off to the side where his blackberry fell) he was still getting bumped by people.
Suit gave the stare and said "A excuse me is a common courtesy"
Now I saw the look again of murder/death/destruction, but Bump guy gathered himself and just said "Fuck you moron" and walked away still angry.
People would do well to rememmber there is a fine line to them getting a public beating or not...

Non Smokers, SHUT UP!

LISTEN JACKASS!
I dont need you to tell me smoking is bad, I think I figured that out for myself especially with all the warnings all over the pack and the Johnson TRUTH freaks on patrol...
BTW If I find out any of those truth morons have ever smoked weed or hung out with someone who smokes weed, I will declare war! GOT THAT?
Now dont give me a lecture, dont harrass me dont tell me the benefits of quitting. I know already, if I havent quit or tryed to its time to mind your own goddamn biz, fool! Cause you know whats bad for your health?
A very angry ROB SHAW.
Now do something valuable like find out why there a liquor store on every corner in the hood or find out the effects of alchoholism and ban beer.
You got my fried foods, you took away fois gras,
you stopped me from going to a bar having a beer and a smoke,
you charge me up the ass to keep this habit going,
I think its time for you to back off and STFU!
Go hug a tree or something.
Cause I promise you
Harrassing me will cause more damage to you then any second hand smoke...
BITE ME

Get well soon Johnny

Our friend John Russell was admitted into Mountainside Hospital Thurs. Jan. 25th 2007 after running a 102.7 degree fever for 4 days. Turns out he has severe lower lobe pnuemonia and he was severly dehydrated, the Dr. said it was bad and good that he came in.
I got home on thursday and logged on to aim to find him by asking his sister where was he but she asked me first which led to what i could only assume as a wild panic on their side and a slight unease on mine. I went to his apt and couldn't find him there so I walked over to the emergency room and was able to track him down. He was so delerious he thought he told everybody he was going to the hospital but actually he told everyone he was waiting for me to take him inwhen i got home from work,
everyone except me that is.
I saw him last night and several people called him today he seems like hes on the road to recovery and iwish him luck, prolly going to see him later. If you want contact info just call/im me and I will gladly give you his room number and phone number.

People like the oddest things...

A few weeks ago I went to a friends house for a interestingly fun "game night" (random board/video games being played by the kids with adults involved), while attending I was standing in the kitchen observing the snacks (actually I was stuffing my face with brownies) when I noticed Slim Jims, a big box of 100 slim jims! After eating several in a variety of ways (canned cheese anyone?) I was told I could take them all with me...
HEAVEN!
I love Slim Jims, the wonderful taste of mechanically seperated chicken, beef and water!
Yum!
I brought them into work and setup the box like you would see in a store and invited people to take as they pleased.
First came the horror and disgust and giggling from people, then they started to try it...
this is the point where things take a odd turn,
they still complained but they were oddly addicted as if there was nicotine in them,
so of course they ate them all...
that was like 2 weeks ago.
people still look at the spot in a wierd fond memory like look...
they want more,
and I am all out,
could this lead to zombieism?

PS3 (I have decided to only post this from my old site...)

Ok i just spent a weekend with m ps3,
and damn i am tired...
now normally i would be burnt out from playing games and stuff
but no
I went the extra mile
tryed to install linux!
now for those ready to take the plunge on that...
first: setting up the ps3 to install linux is super easy there are prompts to do the partitioning
and to boot the cd
now that brings me to
Second: the "otheros.self" and the "otheros.bld" files must be loaded onto your usb key/memory stick (cf, sd, ms pro) USING A WIN MACHINE DO NOT USE A MAC (the mac adds something to the file that corrupts them.
Third: once you load that and boot into th linus boot (another simple step) it boots from the cd
now the distro you pick is important as to your knowledge of linux
Yellowdog: simple install and simple usage but it doesn seem to offer much in the way of multimedia (I am working on that) and installing updates using yum is default off for some reason(!) you have to edit a config file (ask me which i forget right now) to get it to work. I did find Enlightenment 17 a little unstable and went to Gnome (and later KDE by accident).
I havent had the time yet to install any rpms but YUM is supposed to find all the dependencies.
now after finding my limits and instability in Yellowdog I switched to a Gentoo install after reading THIS.
Gentoo: A FRIGGIN NIGHTMARE TO INSTALL
Took hours with me and John adding all the lines to the config files manually during install
there is no way this is newbie friendly.
and after hours we still got stuff wrong that wasnt covered in the Gentoo step by step,
and the manual compiling JESUS H CHRIST! windows is faster install then just compiling the tarball.
Then having to hunt down and manually rewrite some config files had me and John just deciding that Yellowdog wasn that bad at all.
as a matter of fact after hunting down and rewriting a few of the files I still couldnt get it to work!
So,
I am currently reinstalling Yellowdog...
John gave up and went home.
I will fiddle with this and let you know whats what with this.
(also the gentoo install did have some nice video settings, it offered, manually of course, me the chance to set it up to display in 480p, 568p, 720p, 1080i, it looked damn nice but i couldnt take it anymore...)
so there you have it.
Hopefully my next post will be about playing a game or something.
Maybe watching a nice Blu Ray movie :)

I moved!!!!!

Well I have moved my blog off of myspace...
welcome to my new home.
My next 3 posts are going to be the last 3 from my Myspace to catch everyone up and kinda set the mood.
If all goes well, then this should be something I continue.
Godspeed...
